Fantastic Super One Wins for Sandy at Buckmore

(18th May 2014) Another excellent weekend at Buckmore, this time in the British Super One Junior Max Championship.
Qualifying on the Saturday went well for Sandy setting the 4th quickest lap overall and this set him up nicely for a front row start from P2 for both his heats.
Sandy showed great pace in both heats and went on to the win in both of them.
With two heat wins this put Sandy on pole for Final one and after another excellent standing start Sandy lead this final all the way to the chequered flag.
 
Sandy again started from pole for Final two dropping to 3rd by the end of lap 1 but a good move at hairpin two on the second lap got Sandy back into second place and with five laps to go managed to make a move on the leader and pull away to take the win in final two setting the fastest lap as well. With two heat wins and with a win in both finals this takes Sandy to the top of the leader board.
